Nikola Tesla was arguably the greatest scientific mind in modern history, and one of the most eccentric. He created a myriad of inventions including radio, remote control, robotics, our entire alternating current system, the Tesla coil, and x-rays among a host of others, many of which he never got credit for. He also claimed to have invented flying saucers, methods for worldwide free wireless electricity, and something he called the "death ray". Considering how well all of his other inventions worked, I see no reason to doubt these claims. Look him up, its utterly fascinating!
